I have a dream...

Everyone has a dream, right? Everyone has that one thing that secretly, they've always aspired to, but always ended up tossing in the "too hard" basket.

Mine was/is writing.

I change my mind as often as I change my socks. But one constant, for as long as I have remembered, is that I wanted to be a writer. The details of what I wanted to write, exactly, tended to change a bit (when I was 11, I was going to move to Japan and write the best JRPG ever. That's one fantasy I don't shed a tear over losing.), but somewhere, at the back of my mind, I knew that I wanted to write things, and have the satisfaction of knowing that people enjoyed what I created. Getting paid would be nice too.

And I signed up for NaNoWriMo.

So while I created this blog as a nice little soapbox for me to voice my opinion on whatever I happen to see in the daily news, or on my daily trundles through the internet, or just whatever pops to mind, what you, the reader, are likely to see for the next month or so, is a lot of wank about NaNoWriMo.

I do apologise.

And I solemnly swear that I will do everything in my power possible to bring you actual blogging on a semi-regular basis. Cross my heart, hope to die! (don't stick a needle in my eye though. No eyes means no writing of any kind.)
